Back

This new series of wood images is a follow-up of the previous "Walks". This time, they take place in England, around the region I've moved to.

Sam is my dog, my constant companion in my wanderings. I have the feeling he too misses our native woods and we both try to find new places here where we can experience the delights of walking under thick woodlands, through ferns and brambles, grasses and moss... Parks and other frequented paths never quite satisfy us!

My first walk takes place in a large forest of pines near the village of Enville in Staffordshire. An interesting place and one that has succeeded in seducing me with its particular -and very special  to me- 'conifer wood' charm.
